Final Season Of 'Lost' Promises To Make Fans More Annoying Than Ever

"...will make fans corner their roommates who are just trying to do the dishes and force them to listen to their theories on parallel dimensions."

Gotta love the Onion.

I know Kung Fu (or at least I thought I did)

I know Kung Fu (or at least I thought I did)

I am back at it again. Feels realllly good, but wow. It has been at least three months since the last time I went and it sure did feel like it. Note to self: think long and hard before you take a break from class any longer than a week.

Charlie Brooker - How To Report The News

Loved this, especially the bit about The Matrix.

"You better not put this on YouTube"

I have a feeling these have been around for awhile but I'm pretty slow at catching onto these. For instance, I did not catch my second Hitler Finds Out... video until December 2010.

Someone *should* make an app for that

Someone *should* make an app for that

Love this. I sometimes wish I had jumped on the App store bandwagon awhile ago... and sometimes I am glad I didn't.

Independence Day

Independence Day
"happily ever after" by UNIFORM Studio

My wife and I watched the 4th of July fireworks together tonight. My wife. It is going to take some time getting used to that but it is already starting to feel pretty natural!

So much has happened this year! Let me see.... engaged, married, almost every member of my family has now been to Seattle, my family has grown considerably, friends had their baby, I started two businesses, survived an audit, I went camping (in my own tent!), started several open source projects (now to finish them!), started a few closed source projects, learned a new programming language... I know I'm missing a few big things and tons of little ones, but wow! Just these things? And it is only July? Wow.

I've given up on the idea that things are going to settle down quickly. Time to just run with it.

Month in review

It has been a full month since my last post. Of the many things that have happened since then, the largest, by far, is that I asked my girlfriend to marry me. She said yes.

:)

Also, I fell and hurt my knee. Sucks. Kung fu? Not so much. Stitches out on Monday and am hoping to be back at it quickly. After my month and a half break earlier this year

We have had some really excellent artwork at Halogen the last few months. Our current show is pretty amazing.

Did some research on some cloud computing services. Now running a Mosso Cloud Server after having considered a fully dedicated system and comparing EC2, Mosso Cloud Servers and Go Grid.

I've started tinkering with a new open source project, Safsi. More on that soon.

Did I mention I'm getting married? :)
